If you haven't noticed, Gavin Newsom is gearing up for a Presidential run in 2028. He's playing the normal bullshit card of, "Oh, I don't know if I am for sure yet," but he has made it pretty clear that he is. Newsom is term-limited in California, meaning he cannot run for Governor of the state again. Right now, he is considered the frontrunner in the Democratic Party. In the most recent Atlas Intel poll, Newsom is polling at 37%, followed by Kamala Harris at 21%, and Pete Buttigieg at 12%. These three candidates would be horrible for Democrats, but they have the most name recognition. I am going to break down why Gavin Newsom will end up winning the nomination in 2028, and why this is a horrible situation for Democrats.

Well, the time has come. All the campaign stops, speeches, and debates conclude tomorrow when voters go to the polls and cast their ballots in the NYC mayoral race.

The Government Shutdown is continuing to drag on, and there is no end in sight at this point. Senate Democrats refuse to pass a bipartisan continuing resolution that would reopen the government for a specific period, and they are doing so because they believe they have "leverage." At least that is how Katherine Clark is portraying it, stating, "Of course, there will be families that are going to suffer, but it is one of the few leverage times we have." This is a slap in the face to every single American who relies on government subsidies. Tomorrow, SNAP subsidies will be cut off for millions of Americans, and Democrats are the ones to blame. However, Chuck Schumer is continuing to blame Republicans for defunding SNAP, crying on the Senate floor almost every day for the last month now. Schumer clearly does not recognize American people are starting to blame Democrats for this shutdown, and blaming Republicans is not working.

The other day, on Air Force One, President Trump revealed that he had undergone an MRI during his visit to Walter Reed. It was assumed that President Trump was undergoing a routine checkup, and the reason for the MRI was not disclosed. However, President Trump said his MRI results were "perfect", and there is nothing to worry about when it comes to his health. Some Democrats decided to play their normal political theater games and escalate the situation. The Senate Democrats X account tweeted out, “His own staff took him to get an MRI and screened for dementia. What do they know that they haven’t told people???” This is pure irony in its highest form.

Political violence in America has been a hot topic in the last 18 months. From the two attempted assassinations of President Trump and the murder of Charlie Kirk, political violence is becoming normalized in this country. This is a major problem, and one party has consistently used rhetoric that will open the door to this kind of violence.

For the past 29 days, Chuck Schumer has been crying on the Senate Floor, blaming Republicans for shutting down the government. The truth is, Schumer is shitting his pants because he is worried about a primary challenge from Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez. AOC is a democratic socialist, and Chuck Schumer is a crybaby who has been in power for a long time now. Deep down, he knows the American people will blame Democrats for this shutdown the longer it goes on, and he knows the clock is ticking.
